Beach cottage accommodation situated in the tranquil town of Agulhas at the southernmost tip of Africa. Flanked by the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Indian Ocean to the east, makes this the official place where the two Oceans meet and boasts rich marine, bird as well as botanical life.

About Us

Beachcombers is conveniently situated on the main road into the village of Agulhas and within walking distance of nature reserves, hiking trails, the light house, shops and restaurants

Although we do not boast sea views we are only a two minute walk from the beach and tidal pool. 

At Beachcombers you will find a comfortable, communal lounge area ideal for relaxing or playing a game of cards. There is free Wi-Fi throughout and an outdoor patio area for guests to sit and be entertained by the abundant bird-life attracted by the fish pond.

A little about Cape L'Agulhas...

L’Agulhas┬áis the southernmost town in Africa and the closest to the point where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans officially meet. Early Portuguese seafarers rounding this dangerous cape christened it Golfo de Agulhas (Gulf of Needles). Later, due to French influence, the name underwent a further change and the town subsequently became known as L’Agulhas.
